Apollo's Army is an American band formed in the summer of 2008 in Cedar City, UT.
In April of 2020, Apollo's Army released its first full-length album called Welcome To The Army, and the band is now working on their second album and today we talk about the latest single, Making sound, released in August.
The band said about Making sound: "This song is about listening to hope when you feel stuck at rock bottom. It contains heavy riffs, an anthemic chorus, and deep lyrics. Musically there is a very conflict/resolution style, with a final cathartic vibe.
What I like about the song, in particular, is the initial guitar work with a very punchy riffing (continuing during the verses) the vibrant pre-chorus with very good vocals and the "break" part after 3 minutes, leading to a solo.
