Forged in the sounds of early hard rock and metal, and the desert and stoner rock scene that exploded in the mid-1990s, WOLFNAUT (formerly known as Wolfgang) has made it a quest to investigate the musical landscapes between melodic and hooky twin-guitar based songs, and sludgy and doomy stoner rock.
Hailing from the deep forests of Elverum, Norway, WOLFNAUT released its debut album, "Welcome to the Cactus Mountains", in 1998. After touring the band went on an indefinite hiatus before reforming again in 2013. WOLFNAUT’s second full length album, "Castle in the Woods", was released in 2016. Since then the band has played to headbanging audiences from Trondheim to Duisburg.
