Green Day – BBC Sessions Review

Green day - BBC Sessions is the new live album by the American Punk Rock band, just released on the market and consisting of live recordings for the BBC from 1994 to 2001 held at the Maida Vale Studios in London, starting after the planetarian success of Dookie but before American Idiot.

Personally, I love this release. This represents perfectly the first part of the career of the band and the sound is amazing, raw and no-frills. Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt and Tre cool sound at their best during the performance and this is a sort of live Greatest hits (early days) opening with 3 famous songs from Dookie: She, When I come around and especially Basket case, definitely of the biggest hits of the band. Some hits from the Imsomiac album as well like Brain Stew/Jaded or Stuck with me and the major hits from every album of every period, you can have a look at the detailed tracklist after the video below.

To me, it's a totally recommended live album. Give it a go!
