Erebe - Drowned

EREBE attempts to integrate post-dreamy rock's atmospheres with dynamic progressive metal, occasionally borrowing inspiration from more extreme music. Their tracks feature intricate soundscapes with voices that cut through deep textures. Hugo's lead vocals are often flourished by spatial harmonies, as the compositions navigate on the edge of tonality while maintaining a melodic quality that shines through instrumentation where analogue synths, acoustic guitars, or live brass coalesce with the band instruments' precise counterpoint and unique three-vocal assault.

AEON is the band's first release as a single entity, and it spans slightly over forty minutes, addressing themes of mourning from both subjective and narrative viewpoints, drawing influence from modern art practises and literature, as well as personal experiences. Year of no Light), a beautiful yet ominous artwork by Simon Fowler (Earth, Sunn o)) captures the figure of the Collector before and after its fall, giving birth to the shattered souls he trapped.

This is their new single, called DROWNED. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Erebe on social media.
