The Winding Wheels are a Brisbane band playing Southern Rock, Americana and Alternative Country. The band comprises members of The Kindly Ravens and The English Rain.
This is their new single, called Thoughts and Prayers. The band said about the song: "It's a slab of Southern Rock in the vein of Drive-by Truckers or The Black Crowes. The song deals with how thoughts and prayers are offered in times of gun violence but don’t assist the situation, but rather makes the sender feel like they have done the right thing. In these situations, meaningful actions are required not platitudes."
