Highway Natives - Doghouse

HIGHWAY NATIVES is a Nashville, Tennessee-based five-piece American Roots-Rock band. Their classic, yet modern sound is flavoured with lush vocal harmonies, soaring lead guitar, and timeless rhythm-section grooves nestled neatly beneath real-life lyrics, with inspirations from classics like the Eagles, Tom Petty, Little Feat, and more. The Natives started in early 2019 as a way to get away from the gruelling and stressful Nashville music industry, where they were working behind-the-scenes in record companies, recording studios, and other demanding jobs. Being able to return to their origins by writing, playing, and recording their own music provided a creative outlet, as well as inspiring and reminding them of why they chose life and love of music in the first place.

This is their new single, called Doghouse. A soft guitar riff introduces the song with smooth vocals, a great rhythm section and a very catchy blues chorus. Watch out for the guitar solo in the middle of the song as well. Doghouse is a very good song, amazingly performed by Highway Natives and with a great sound.
