Big Things - Whatever You Are

Max Kaye and Tom Sawa, lifelong friends and collaborators, formed the Toronto-based rock band Big Things in 2021. They attempt to recreate the pretty/gritty sweet spot between Beatles harmonies, Zeppelin-esque guitars, and irresistible pop melodies in their style, which is a tribute to legendary rock titans of the 1960s and 1970s.

This is their new single, called Whatever You Are. Since the start of the song, you can clearly hear the 60s and 70s influences. Apart from the names mentioned above, I would even add the early Queen in some guitar solutions and vocal harmonies, especially in the chorus, very catchy! The song is amazingly performed by the band and it's got a perfect sound for the genre. Check out the guitar solo as well!
