The Appointments - Outlaw

The Appointments' roots/indie rock music incorporates elements of rock, blues, reggae, and Latin influences. Bob Marley, Ben Harper, My Morning Jacket, The John Butler Trio, Van Morrison, The Police, Arctic Monkeys, Ocean Alley Chronixx, and Fat Freddy's Drop are among the influences on the Newcastle/Awabakal country band's sound. Throughout their tours and travels on Australia's east coast, the band has shared the stage with Sydney veteran Andy Clockwise, The Rions, The Terrys, and Slapjack.

The members of the band are Brothers Rhys (Guitar, Vocals) and Eli Love (Drums, Vocals) Kurt Speirs (Bass) and Duncan Brown (Percussion, keys).

This is their new single, called Outlaw. The song has a great sound, a perfect performance by the guys of the band and lots of contamination. The song is very enjoyable from start to finish with a stunning chorus, my favourite part of the song. Check out the guitar solo towards the end of the song as well. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow The Appointments on social media.
