Trent-Jean just released a new song called ‘HIGH3R’, "driven from Love, Desire and rising above adversities in life.“ The song was written by Trent-Jean and produced with the help of Rob Grant (Poons Head Studios).
It began as a love song four years ago, but his father was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer during the production stage at the end of 2021. It then altered gears in his motivation, causing him to become energised by the prospect of having to overcome problems in this lifetime.
The song has a very energetic start, the sound is rich and the arrangement is fantastic, as well as the vocal performance and the chorus, which will probably get stuck in your head for a while. It's difficult to put the song in only one genre as it's got multiple influences in terms of sound and recording.
