Witch Daughter - History of Animals (Liam Kiernan Mix)

Witch Daughter are a Midlands-based alt-rock band who write music about existentialism, introspection, and the line between human cognition and animal instinct. These dark themes and ethereal undertones go well with an upbeat musical style that includes soaring choruses, enticing guitar hooks, and hard-hitting rhythm and bass.

The group blends hard rock with punk, psychedelic, and prog, drawing influences from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as Muse and Queens of the Stone Age.

This is their new single, called History of Animals, starting with a nice bass line before the full band gets in. The drums are vigorous and the guitars are powerful, especially during the chorus, for me the highlight of the song, which is amazingly performed by the band and with a great sound.
