America Jayne is an Alternative-Indie musician from Brooklyn. Erica (her real name) grew up in a small Connecticut hamlet where there are more cows per square mile than people. It would be an understatement to say there was little to do. She began taking guitar lessons at the age of ten. Erica decided to take a major risk in order to move out of the small town she had known her entire life.
This is her new single, called
Scaredy Cat, a classic pop-rock tune starting with a cool guitar riff, very well performed vocals and a very catchy chorus. The song brings me back straight to the 90s and it's got some folk vibes as well. It is also very well recorded and it's got a great drums performance during the second part of the song.
