Calling Cadence - Rosie / Took a chance

Calling Cadence, led by Oscar Bugarin and Rae Cole, is a band built on harmony between singers, songwriters, and genres including rock, country, swampy blues, and Southern soul.

The band's self-titled debut album, Calling Cadence, reveals a band whose songs pay homage to the past while resolutely moving forward. For the modern world, it's a classic-sounding record (recorded, mixed, and mastered straight to analogue tape). Computers were only used for CD replication and streaming prep. The album is being released on their own hi-res records label and was produced by David Swartz and Matt Linesch.

This is "Rosie", starting with a nice arpeggio and relaxed vocals. The song has a fantastic production and a very catchy chorus (with very well made backing vocals) and a very delicate and quality arrangement. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below.

This is another single called "Took a chance", with very vintage vibes, a gospel organ, a great rhythm section and an impeccable vocal performance with a really enjoyable and melodic chorus. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow the band on social media.
