Gentry Blue - Tell Them I'm Insane

Gentry Blue includes Lydia Gentry on vocals and electric violin, Brendan DeBonis on guitar, Will Gibson on bass, and Kaleb Kinyon on drums.

The band's mission, which began in late 2018 at Belmont University, is to write songs with clever instrumentals and catchy hooks about everything from analysing different relationships to reflecting on a confusing world to the depths of space and beyond, using a variety of tools at their disposal, including powerhouse female vocals, electric violin, fuzzy guitar riffs reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s, and thoughtful introspective lyrics. Gentry Blue has been compared to Rush, Heart, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, and Lindsey Stirling.

This is their new single, called Tell Them I'm Insane. The song starts with a classic rock riff in a guitar/bass combo, followed by clean vocals by Lydia. Speaking about vocals, the chorus is amazingly sung and it's very catchy, with great drumming as well. The song is perfectly performed by the band (check out the guitar solo before the last chorus) and it's got a vintage taste.
