Interview - Telma

1) Bio
Hello there people. We are Telma, a metal band from Larisa-Greece. We are active for the last couple of years and we released our debut album in August of 2021. Since then we are performing in live stages whenever covid-19 allows us to.

2) Line up

The members of Telma are five. Marcos and Phillip, the two brothers, the old guys. Mike and Anthony, young and flamboyant and Kostas, the new guy but experienced like hell. The four of us were playing music together for quite some time and Kostas joined the party to make it complete.

3) We sound like
We don't like this question but I would say we sound like Slipknot with sentimental vocals and guitar solos.

4) Discography
We have released one album. "Eternal" its name is. And we are very happy about it.

5) influences

Some of our greatest influences from the older to the more recent ones are Iron Maiden, Pantera, Nevermore, Alice in Chains, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Lamb of God, Gojira and Tesseract. We all have different tastes in music but these are the most common among all of us and have clearly impacted our music

6) What do you write about?
We write about the inner conflicts and struggle that a person goes through. The stagesof his life stages of truly make him evolve and get stronger. The challenge of his very own ideas, moral values and choices that will lead him to find new ways and paths in his mind, new emotions, upsetting conclusions and powers that he never knew that were lying inside him.

7) Your favourite live performance so far?
Our favourite performance was on the 12th of April in Mylos 1927, in our hometown Larisawhere we played alongside our friends Hidden in the Basement and Scram. The place was crowded. Every band brought their vibe on the stage and the people were really looking for a good show (after another winter quarantine). And a good show they had. It was a wonderful night.

8) Your favourite records?
We'll have one for every member of ours as our taste differs pretty much.
For Mike, Turnstile-Glow on Currently
For Phillip, Bruce Dickinson-Accident of Birth
For Anthony, Faith No More-The Real Thing
For Kostas, Alter Bridge-BlackBird
For Marcos, Black Laber Society- The Blessed Hellride

9) A musician you would like to meet for a beer?
It will go the same way as in the previous question
For Mike Alex, Rudiger
For Phillip, Corey Taylor
For Anthony, Tash Sultana
For Kostas, Devin Townsend
For Marcos, Zakk Wylde

10) What will you ask backstage if you were the most important band on earth?
Even if we are the most important band we don't believe we would have insane demands. We would ask for professionalism and for everybody to be nice to each other. We don't forget where we are coming from and how difficult these times are for everyone. After all we're here to play music.
