Souls Worn Thin - Blur

Former Deepwater guitarist Stephen Wayne came up with the idea for Souls Worn Thin. Melodic rock/punk simmered in the Puget Sound's gritty imprints. While the band don't quite belong into any one genre, they do have a distinct PNW vibe that alternates between aggressive and cheeky.

Drummer Josh White (previously of Lit End) is a heavy-hitting all-out beast on the kit, Cody Sanders (previously of The Stravinsky Riots), a guitarist turned bass player, joined the band roughly ten minutes before Souls Worn Thin travelled to Magic Mix studio to record their debut album "Kill Your T.V."

This is their single Blur, starting with a clean arpeggio and a "walking" bass. Hi-gain for the chorus, very memorable and catchy, very well sung and performed by the band. Check out the grungy break in the middle of the song as well (great drums!). The song has many influences very well blended by the band, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Souls Worn Thin on social media.
