Since the release of their self-titled album in 2013, The Dead Daisies have grown in popularity. They've published five studio albums, one live album, and one covers album to a growing army of fans across the world, and they've been acclaimed by the international press in an era when rock has been proclaimed dead numerous times.
John Corabi, Marco Mendoza, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Frank Ferrer, Darryl Jones, Tommy Clufetos, Charley Drayton, and Jon Stevens are just a few of the players who make up the band's DNA. Kiss, Guns N' Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith, Bad Company, Whitesnake, ZZ Top, and the Hollywood Vampires are just a few of the artists they've shared the stage with.
Glenn Hughes, known as "The Voice Of Rock," joined The Dead Daisies in 2019 to usher in a new era for the band. Glenn joined guitarists Doug Aldrich, David Lowy, and drummer Deen Castronovo to make the album 'Holy Ground,' which was produced by Ben Grosse at La Fabrique Studios in the south of France and published on January 22nd 2021.
Enjoy now the Deep Purple super classic Burn, of my favourite songs of the band (and of the entire 70s, maybe) and amazingly performed by The Dead Daisies with the usual fantastic performance by Glenn Hughes. The song is taken from their Live in Daisyland. Give it a go and follow the band on social media as well.
