Twelve Days In June - "Hoped You Couldn't Tell"

Twelve Days in June is Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter Dave Hulegaard. Dave, who describes himself as a "throwback" artist, writes melodious rock songs with insightful lyrics that explore the often-unbalanced human experience.

Dave set his sights on the follow-up LP he'd always wanted to record after three singles were released in 2020. Anhedonia, which was released in January 2022 and portrays a dark and chaotic period in his life, is the outcome. While the album delves into complex subjects like anxiety, low self-esteem, and grief, it also acts as a source of clarity and catharsis for him, allowing him to finally make peace with his past.

This is his new single, called "Hoped You Couldn't Tell". The song has nice melodies, very good vocals and it's enjoyable from start to finish, thanks also to a good sound. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below (or the YouTube video, after that) and don't forget to follow Twelve Days in June on social media.
