Clay Page

Clay Page's artistic path had already been fueled by a guitar as large as he was at the age of nine. The match had been lit and thrown to the gathering flames after he had won his hometown talent competition at the age of 15...

Traditional country, southern rock, soul, and blues are reintroduced. With Hank Sr. and The Allman Brothers as inspirations. Clay Page's music is described as having a "sound of the deep south.”

Southbound is one of my favourite songs by the artist, starting with a nice arpeggio and soothing vocals by Clay. The arrangement is pure class with great piano and a solo guitar in the background. Have a listen.

Dodged a bullet is more upbeat, with drums starting straight away with the song, which I would define as classic Americana, very catchy and with the usual great arrangement and performance by Clay. The song is very enjoyable from start to finish and it's got a great sound too.

Something is more Classic Rock, I would say, always keeping the classic Americana style guitars and, again, with a very catchy chorus, that probably will get stuck in your head for a bit. Check out also the guitar solo, in the second part of the song. Have a listen by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Clay Page on social media as well.
