J. Coursey Willis - Niles

J. Coursey Willis is the imagined child of Jim Morrison and Alanis Morissette, or so he's been told. A singer/songwriter brimming with emotion, rage, intensity, and grit, his worst flaw is his tendency to drift into a nostalgic haze. His moody art has a melancholy tone to it, which he finds soothing. He adores the moon, clouds, enormous old trees, ghosts, history, and drinking in cemeteries at night.

This is his new single, called Niles, starting with soothing acoustic guitars and vocals, with a fantastic sound. The verse explodes in a catchy full band chorus with a great vocal performance by J. Coursey, in between country and grunge. The performance of the band is also spotless as well as the general sound, perfect for the genre.
