The Hipocrats - Annie/ Mann Simmadown

Tyler McGinnis and Sarah Brunner, based in Seattle, WA, lead The Hipocrats. The two musical dynamos and domestic partners combine hair-raising harmonies, tunes that will stick in your mind for days, and sassy lyrical imagery in their take on classic Americana music - a must-see while they're in town. On June 10th, 2022, their highly awaited debut EP Road to Joy will be published.

This is their new song, called Annie, starting with a good pace and nice-sounding acoustic guitars and a violin. The voices of Tyler and Sarah perfectly blend together and the chorus is really catchy, with proper American vibes, good vocals and some dynamic drumming as well. This is another song called Mann Simmadown, starting with some frantic vocals and violins. The song slows down a bit for a very melodic chorus (very interesting as usually the formula is the opposite). Check out the violin solo during the second part of the song, very inspired and amazingly performed. I find the song very original.
