Cary Shields is a drummer, songwriter, singer, and storyteller who has previously released two E.Ps titled Cary Shield (2018) and Soul bones, released in 2020.
This is his new single, called In the morning. Cary wrote about the song: "This is my latest single. I began writing it on January 6, 2021. Inspired by the events of that day, I was thinking about the power of diplomacy, and the first verse just came to me. From there, it turned into a story that was more about just a couple of people finding love."
