Centershift - From Where We Are

Onesidezero member Jason Radford founded Centershift out of his artistic desires. Onesidezero created one of the best and most underrated Nu Metal albums of the 2000s, according to VH1. An alternative rock movement spearheaded by Radford and Onesidezero included a wave of platinum-selling musicians and a sound that affected an entire generation of musicians. In addition to creating clever alternative rock that serves as a reminder that rock is very much alive and well, this new endeavour wants to convey the thoughts and feelings of his life experience and knowledge. Ted Wenri, formerly of Bemus, plays bass, and Ryan Shane Stuber, formerly of Shuvel, plays guitar.

This is their new single, called From Where We Are, starting with an anthemic chorus straight away and we can notice immediately the quality of the performance and the recordings. The vocals are fantastic, as well as the arrangement, I totally recommend the song, you won't regret it. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below (you can also read the lyrics below) and don't forget to follow Centershift on social media.

Lyrics:
From where we are, we can see the water rise
From where we are, we can wait until it dries

Drifting out to sea again
I wake up, I'm still beneath the Shadow of this tidal wave
I close my eyes to dream again
I can't wait until I reach the shallows, but still so far away

From where we are, we can see the water rise
From where we are, we can wait until it dries

Looking to the path I'm in
Trying everything, but still the water keeps on flowing in
Hold our breath, it's time again
So comfortable, I hide beneath the shadow of this tidal wave
From where we are, we can see the water rise
From where we are, we can wait until it dries

Just say it again, you like this, in the storm you like it
Just tell me again, you like this, in the storm you like it
From where we are, we can see the water rise
From where we are, we can wait until it dries

From where we are
