The Pinx - Break Your Heart

The Pinx are an Atlanta, Georgia band that has been pushing the decibel level across two EPs and three albums for the greater part of two decades, adding garage primitivism, power soul, and a hazardous integrity that forgoes compromise to bring righteousness with each amplified riff to the story.

The Pinx, consisting of Adam McIntyre (lead vocals, lead/rhythm guitar, vocals), Chance McColl (lead/rhythm guitar, vocals), Charles Wiles (bass, vocals), and Cayce Buttrey (drums, vocals), arrived at West End Sound in July 2021 with a load of new songs and with GRAMMY-winning producer Tom Tapley (Mastodon, Blackberry Smoke, Tom Morello, for their fourth album.

This is their new single, called Break Your Heart, starting with a classic rock riff and anthemic vocals, straight away, in between Stones and Aerosmith, I would say. The energy is contagious, the sound is perfect for the genre and the performance of the band is spot on, with a catchy chorus and super guitar licks and a very inspired solo section.
