Dustin McKamie - Last Night

American singer-songwriter Dustin McKamie, who is originally from the Midwest, has earned a livelihood as an artist in the Los Angeles region. Most notably, his visual effects may be seen on popular TV programs including The Walking Dead, Perry Mason, and Game of Thrones (to name a few).

For both the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the International Songwriting Contest, Dustin was recognized as a successful finalist. He came in first place in a 2011 competition sponsored by Universal Pictures to appear on the Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World blu-ray. Director Edgar Wright personally selected his song, which was then put up for online voting to win.

This is his new single, called Last Night, an indie song (with Americana vibes) with great guitars, inspired bass lines and vocals (great lyrics as well). I really like the change of atmosphere verses/chorus and the song reminds me of some latest solo material by Duff Mckagan (Guns n' roses). Last night is enjoyable from start to finish and it's very well produced and performed by Dustin, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow the artist on social media.
