ON - Underdog

On is a sonic guitar-based landscape centred on the chemistry of Steve Fall (guitars), Dan Cornelius (drums), and Lucy Di Santo (bass and vocals).

Before preproduction and recording with Drew Howard at the Star Sound Studios in Fort Meyers during the winter of 2021, the trio worked together and wrote the material in Toronto and New York City. The finished album is now scheduled for a September 16 release; the first single, "Underdog," was released on July 20 and has gained momentum thanks to increasing broadcasts in the US and UK.

What I like about the song is the straightforward spirit, the energy, the general sound and the performance of the band, with clear grunge and punk influences, with some hint of stoner towards the end of the song (check out the guitar solo as well).
