Secrets Of Fire - Runes

Secrets of Fire (SoF) are an indie alternative goth rock band featuring Astrid (vocals) and River (guitars/production). The Cure, Blondie, Pixies, David Bowie, and other musicians have all inspired the duo's sound. as well as visual artists like Robert Rauschenberg, Helmut Newton, and David Lynch. In addition to producing their own music, the duo also produces their own film and still images for use as works of visual art. In late 2022, the debut album is scheduled for release.

This is their new single, called Runes. The vocals start straight away and I really like their mood, chilled but with heavy guitars in the background. They get a little more intense during the chorus, very catchy and with amazing bass lines (pay attention to them!). The song has different amazing parts, and the production is perfect in each of them, as well as the performance of the duo.
