The Challenger Disaster Conspiracy - Something's Wrong With Dougie

The Challenger Disaster Conspiracy, a new four-piece punk band that takes inspiration from David Lynch, Axl Rose, Master Shake, Tenacious D, and Jerri Blank, was formed by Minneapolis, USA-based prog metal veterans Cwn Annwn with the goal of creating music that reflects the cosmically absurd state of the world.

A world where Tom Waits grew up as a skateboarder in early 1990s Orange County is created by Neil James (guitar/vocals), Harry Rostovtsev (guitar), Mike Strohkirch (bass), and Jake Stone (drums) over the course of their soon-to-be-released EP. They also explore significant lyrical themes like the value of maintaining professional relevance, the normalness of yelling at sportswriters on Twitter, and the underappreciated merits of Twin Peaks: The Return (as you can see from the cover).

This is their new single, called Something's Wrong With Dougie. The song starts with a hi-gain punk rock riff. What I love in particular about the song is the energy, starting from the sound (great production) to the performance, which is pure testosterone with energetic and inspired drums and powerful vocals. The song is also well written and catchy.
