Hoverfly, a Denver-based alternative four-piece, creates a sound reminiscent of Muse, Audioslave, and the Killers by fusing passionate vocals, swaggering guitar, and a driving rhythm section. Chris Golias (guitar) and Tony Strayer (drums), cousins who started Hoverfly during the pandemic of 2020, acquired their unique sound when Carl Mease (bass) and Andy Rimer (vocals) joined the band. The end result was a special fusion of unfiltered emotion, surrealistic lyrical ideas, relentless musicality, and high-intensity performance.
This is their new single, called
Hate. The song starts with a nice guitar riff and it's got relaxed vibes during the verse. The chorus (absolutely catchy) makes the song a little more energetic thanks to a distorted guitar. What I really like about "Hate" is the brilliant production and the individual performance of the band: I love the bass lines, the guitar solo and the vocals are very inspired too. Definitely a good and very enjoyable song, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow
Hoverfly on social media as well.
