In Baltimore, Maryland, friends Michael Strackbein, Jeremy Hayes, and Shane Walsh created the American alt-rock group MEAN SEA. They are veterans of the independent touring scene and blend punk, surf rock, garage, and pop influences.
This one below is their new single, called Puke Mouth. I really like the pace and the mood of the song, sounding modern but with some retro taste and with clean and punchy vocals. The production is spot on, and the song sounds fantastic: the energetic chorus (absolutely catchy) and the short instrumental break (great drumming) are two of the highlights for me.
