Synvilla - Karina med kniven

The Swedish thunder quartet Synvilla plays humorous, deceptive psychedelic hard rock with a nod to the '70s. They combine Swedish lyrics that are braided into mystery, biting humour, and politically-charged components with powerful, bone-chilling riffs.

Incorporating stoner and dreamy punk elements with a psychedelic twist, Synvilla draws inspiration from bands like Black Sabbath, Witchcraft, The Slits, Stooges, and Goat. They engage the listener on an adventure where they will be flung between intense, dark portions and crazy solos.

This is their new single, called Karina med kniven. The song starts with a powerful old style guitar riff and relatively relaxed vocals, becoming more intense during the chorus. I love all the guitar solos, very inspired and well performed (and sounding totally 70s!) and I also find the rhythm section amazingly played too. This is a great song, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Synvilla on social media as well.
