Interview - BIOSCRAPE

- Hi and welcome to this interview. Tell us about your latest release.
Hello everyone, for us it is a great pleasure!!! We are satisfied with the promotion of our latest album "Hell Or Reality" and we hope to promote it all over the world with as many concerts as possible! Hell Or Reality is a compact album, homogeneous, suitable for all listeners of the genre and not, full of adrenaline riffs and more melodic parts, a mix of genres and sounds that lead to immerse themselves in the concept of the album from the first to the last piece!!

- How would you describe your sound?
We can define our sound as sound of BIOSCRAPE, we have worked a lot for this and many webzines in the industry cannot catalogue us in a single genre defined and this for us is a very important thing and a source of pride, not just. Overall we can define in our sound with some adjectives such as: bursting, energetic, devastating, a wall of sound that reaches the listener creating sensations of absolute power linked to more melodic parts that make us jump to the rhythm of our music.

 - What do you write about?
Like all our albums, Hell Or Reality is a concept album that deals with the issues of addiction to technological devices, social media and the distortion of reality that we encounter more and more often (a very current topic nowadays). We also covered psychological aspects related to these issues such as, for example, the anger and malice that can be unleashed on the web without any worries whatsoever, making people indifferent to the various social aspects between individuals, Creating this bubble where everything is allowed without consequences whatsoever.

- What do you listen to when you are home?
All of us band members have different listenings and we have musical influences that range a lot both in the metal genre and not... All three of us come from very different musical formations and each of us, of course, has its own "contaminations", and this is exactly what we are going to merge in our music because it is the least catalogable possible. Bands like Grip. Inc., Pantera, Slayer, Mudvayne, Decapitated, Sepultura, Korn, Fear Factory, Jamiroquai, Led Zeppelin have always been great sources of inspiration and admiration.... and there would still be many more to mention!!

- Your favourite live performance so far?
Among the various live experiences, we can certainly mention the concert at the Slauter Club of Pederno Dugnano (Milan), where we were called as the opener for an important international band, and where we found and tested the energy of the audience that was listening to us, jumping, screaming and encouraging us during the live... a unique and really satisfying experience!!!

- Tell us a funny story that happened in studio or on stage.
There would be memorable moments from 2006 to today, but we like to always remember the moments lived during the tours made abroad that gave us indescribable emotions!! Like, for example, getting lost in a forest in the Russian steppe, where the phone didn’t pick up and we didn’t know where we were or having to keep the tour-bus driver awake after a concert (literally risking going astray) to reach the hotel where to sleep (just to mention two of many others).

- Your favourite albums?
"God Hates Us All" (SLAYER) - "Arise" (SEPULTURA) - "Cowboys From Hell" (PANTERA) -"Nightfall In The Middle Earth" (BLIND GUARDIAN) - "Iowa" (SLIPKNOT) - "Follow The Leader" (KORN) - "Perseverance" (HATEBREED) - "Immotalized" (DISTURBED) - "Far Beyond Driven" (PANTERA) - "Sacramento" (AGNELLO DI DIO) - "Ride the Lightning" (METALLICA) - "Reign in Blood" (SLAYER)

 - A musician you would like to meet for a beer?
As for the listening and the albums, there would be artists that we would like to meet and talk to over a beer after a concert but just to name a few: Devin Townsend, Jonathan Davis (Korn), Paul Bostaph (Slayer) that V has already met in a private lesson before their concert in Milan, Chad Gray (Mudvayne - Hellyeah), Gene Hoglan (Fear Factory -Testament - etc.) and many others!!!

 - What would you ask for backstage, if you were the most important band on earth?
Definitely as many fans as possible, to talk to them, listen to them, maybe have a beer together, because they are the spirit that loads us every time we play live, and it is their determination, their screams and their enthusiasm that helps us to give the best of ourselves!!!

- What are your plans for the near future?
Never stopping and always working hard to give our listeners a new product, Varied and listenable both from the boy who begins to discover the metal world at the old guard always looking for new listeners.
