Black London is ready to make you enjoy a
different rock, full of melodic tastes and deep lyrics. The band's newest
release "Letters I Never Wrote" is available on all streaming
platforms and comes with a new music video.
The song was born from the need to express in some way a
story of deception and heartbreak. It explores the idea of guilt, the
reasons or causes that lead to certain actions and, above all, it is a
way of asking for forgiveness.
"Letters I Never Wrote was born during the pandemic
months, we were composing "ON LINE" because of the lockdown and
we don't pretty like the first version of the song, in fact it does not
appear in our first EP "Finally". During the summer 2021, while
we were working in new songs, we decided to work again in this song
focusing in create a very powerful chorus part and in a good bridge, we
think that the song it's a pure Black London style and we enjoy playing
it in live gigs".
"We have taken advantage of these long months of
pandemic to focus on brushing and shaping the first studio recording by
adding different sound forms, daring to mix different musical roots and
exploring with rhythms and tempos typical of other styles. The wait has
surely been positive." - says the band.
As a band, their influences are several; They enjoy every
kind of music, from bossa nova to hardcore. But at the time to create
their music they get very inspired by bands like Normandie, Tesseract,
Dance Gavin Dance, Sleeping With Sirens, Don Broco, Deaf Havana.
As all the Black London's songs was produced by the band,
recorded and mixed at Metropol Studios in Madrid by Alex Cappa.
