Modern Blues/Rock/Soul singer and songwriter Cheri Lyn's goal is to revive the vibe of 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s music while fusing it with modern sounds and genres. She follows the musical tradition of being a powerful and important woman, who speaks out for others, to be honest about themselves and to know their principles. She draws inspiration from legends like Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, and Aretha Franklin.
She moved to London in 2016 to follow her own path, and quickly established herself in the city's blues scene and collaborated with professionals in the business such as producer Alan Glass (Aretha Franklin), Ace (guitarist from Skunk Anansie), and Tim Hawes (Songwriter for Spice Girls).
After releasing her debut single "Caught in the Blues" in December 2017, she was invited to perform at the NAMM music expo in Los Angeles, opened the Leicester Blues Festival for headliner Walter Trout, and supported four-time Blues Award winner Chantel McGregor. Her self-titled debut EP was recorded at London's renowned Metropolis studios.
