D L Burdon & His Questionable Intentions - Thank You And Good Night

D L Burdon's new politically charged, punk infused, spitfire Americana CD,  was given life by the talents, passion, and wit of three friends who came together during the pandemic. The Englishman's observations of daily life in contemporary America are highlighted by the many levels of energy, anger, and frustration that lie beneath the surface of "...And His Questionable Intentions." Burdon finally achieves harmony between his songwriting prowess and powerful musical delivery in... His Doubtful Intentions. The trio's music appeals to followers of Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Lucero, and Centro-matic since it is made up of veterans of the U.K. and U.S. punk and indie scenes.

This is their new single, called Thank You And Good Night. I really like the 90s punk mood of the song (reminding me of Bad Religion) and I like the simple and tasty arrangement. The vocals are well performed, and catchy, the rhythm section is very dynamic and energetic and the guitars very inspired. This is a very cool song, enjoyable from start to finish.
