Fall Back - Taking Angels/Don't let go

Punk-pop group Fall Back got their start in 2016 as a cover band covering everything from punk rock to music from the 1970s. While some members left and others joined, the core trio of Michael Prasch, Jotham Higginbotham, and Ben Read started producing original material in the spring of 2020. Since 2021, drummer Colin McCabe has toured with the group and contributed to their most recent record. FallBack's debut track, "Endlessly," which was released in the fall of 2020, is an example of indie rock. Their second single, "Save Yourself," was published in the summer of 2021. The band just finished recording their debut album, The Pursuit of Nothing, which was released on December 8, 2022.

This is their new song, called Taking Angels, starting with a tasty arpeggio and relaxed vocals. The song becomes very energetic when the chorus comes in and it's super catchy, it will probably get stuck in your head.  A very inspired tune, amazingly performed and produced (there is also a great guitar solo). This is another song Don't let go, slightly different from the song above. A little more aggressive but without losing the catchy element (see chorus, with punchy vocals and a great arrangement). The song is very well written, performed and produced and I also really like the instrumental section in the second part of the song, very technical and melodic at the same time.
