Jason Heeter - Right & Wrong

The music of Jason Heeter has a strong, sincere feel, and his voice is deep and forceful. Heeter gained experience as a singer and multi-instrumentalist both on and off campus while attending Southeast Missouri State University to study music. With a wealth of expertise and influences from Little Feat to Bill Withers to Merle Haggard, his catalog's stylistic diversity further attests to his inherent brilliance. One thing is certain: whether he performs solo or with other groups like his band Heet & the A.C.'s, the Deuce Denninger Band, the Ivas John Band, Deuce & Heeter's Grateful Thursday, or Shades of Soul, you can count on seeing him play.

This is his new single, called Right & Wrong. The song starts with a slow blues mood and vocals and it becomes energetic right away when the band kicks in. The artists wrote about it: "Right & Wrong is a cautionary tale about a .45, too much booze, and the rash decisions we can make when we're angry and grieving. A raucous groove, wailing slide guitar, and powerful vocals."

I love the general sound, the brilliant guitar solo and in general the mood of the song, amazingly performed and produced in every single aspect. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Jason Heeter on social media as well.
