Jokes On Me - Some Kind of Freak



A recent Southern Californian project is called Jokes On Me. They recently published their debut single, "Some Kind of Freak," and they are currently working on an album. After January 1, 2023, the band will release a new single, with the album's target release date being May 2023.

The song has a killer guitar riff, well supported by the band (the rhythm section is powerful and dynamic) and very inspired vocals, energetic and intense. "Some Kind of Freak" has a grunge taste, a very catchy chorus and its mood brings me back straight to the 90s, my favourite era of music. The production is also perfect for the genre and the performance by the band is great.
