Kentucky Avenue - Black Horse Riding

KENTUCKY AVENUE draws inspiration from artists such as Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Bruce Springsteen, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, and Jack White, June Carter, and Johnny Cash while weaving their own tapestry of Americana and alt-country strands. Dave Ries and Stella Schindler are hardly newcomers to the music industry, despite the fact that they have only been writing and playing together for less than a year.

This is one of their songs called Black Horse Riding, an energetic Americana song with upright bass, barrelhouse piano, and two-part vocal harmonies and I really like its mood and its pace. The song is amazingly performed, with a great sound and with a spot-on arrangement and it's very enjoyable from start to finish. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow KENTUCKY AVENUE on social media as well.
