Orchard Sky - Rollin' 7's

Orchard Sky does have a similar feel to it, and you're not mistaken. The trio, based between Vancouver and Edmonton, has placed its prior moniker as "The Orchard" firmly in the past and is eager to launch its exciting new sound, which blurs the lines between Southern Rock and Country. Mitch Smith and Andreas Wegner, the group's longtime musical collaborators, were lately looking for a new lead vocalist when they found Krystle Dos Santos, a two-time Western Canadian Music Award winner.

This is their new single, called Rollin' 7's (feat. Clayton Bellamy). I really like the pace and the mood of the song, in between Blues, Country, and classic rock. The production is spot on, as well as the performance by the band (check out the stunning guitar solo). The vocals are catchy and the song is very dynamic, very enjoyable from start to finish.
