Song of the day: Avaland - Theater Of Sorcery

AVALAND will release their second album, "The Legend of the Storyteller," on Rockshot Records on March 31, 2023.

The band accompanied the announcement with the release of "Crymson Tyranny," the first single from the new album, which features Madie (formerly of Nightmare, Faith in Anguish), Pierre "Cara" Carabalona (formerly of Eltharia), and Zak Stevens (formerly of Savage, TSO) as guests.

“This song is the first one I composed for this album. It defines the atmosphere for this new album: darker than “Theater Of Sorcery”, but also more epic, especially with its mighty chorus (with some Blind Guardian influences). It’s a mind-sticking song, beware of this infernal hook “Crimson! Tyranny!”. The title of the song is a tribute to “In the Court of the Crimson King” by King Crimson." adds Adrien G. Gzagg.

Crymson Tyranny features catchy riffs, energetic but melodic vocals and epic backing vocals. The song is amazingly arranged, performed and produced (check out the solo section in the middle of the song!).
