The Bridge City Sinners - The Devil's Swing

Portland, Oregon's The Bridge City Sinners play dark folk and Americana music. Lightnin' Luke, Clyde and the Milltailers, and King Strang are additional members of the Flail Records family. The Bridge City Sinners, whose musical influences range from jazz from the Prohibition era to Appalachian death folk, come from the misty, pine-covered hills of the Pacific Northwest. With performances at festivals like Oregon's Bluegrass String Summit, Punk Rock Bowling, and Muddy Roots, this traditional string band lineup challenges the definition of the term genre.

This supergroup of musicians began their journey by performing on city sidewalks across the nation, and they are currently on the national tour circuit. The Sinners continue to release albums on their own record label, Flail Records, staying true to the DIY philosophy.

This is their single, called The Devil's Swing. This is a beautiful song, with lots of contaminations (swing, Americana, folk rock, jazz... There is a world, inside this song) and amazingly performed by the band. The vocals are super catchy and I love the pace and the mood which has a classy arrangement as well. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow The Bridge City Sinners on social media.
