Song of the day: Damsel - Dead of Night

Kieran Marquis, the band's lead guitarist and songwriter, founded Damsel in 2018. Damsel's music is characterised by memorable guitar solos, strong riffs, and catchy hooks. A Damsel concert is reminiscent of a time when rock shows were nothing but a good time, heavily influenced by rock legends of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Damsel's music has been compared to contemporary rock with a retro attitude.

Damsel are comprised of: Mackenzie Marquis - Lead Vocals, Kieran Marquis - Guitar + Backing Vocals, Daniel Gottardo - Guitar + Backing Vocals, Michael Climie - Bass + Backing Vocals and Devon Sutherland - Drums.

This is their new single, called Dead of Night. The song brings me back to the 80s and golden Hard Rock era (I can hear some Whitesnake here). Technical and tasty guitars (check out the solos at the end of the song!), energetic but melodic vocals and a robust and dynamic rhythm section. This is a very good track with a great sound, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Damsel on social media as well.
