Song of the day: Geomancer / Usama Siddiq / Imaginary Nation - Wishbone

A talented group of musicians, the majority of whom are from Australia and a couple from Berlin, came up with the song "Wishbone."

Early in 2022, Geomancer and Todd James (also known as Imaginary Nation) collaborated to record the song's first sections. Usama Siddiq, a fellow Berliner whom Todd had passed the song to, immediately provided incredible vocals. Todd and Dale continued to work on the song and added additional talent from some of their musician friends. Jamie Alexander, formerly of the well-known Adelaide band The FAK, recorded the bass, and Tyson Mahoney, of the upcoming project Mt Void, played the wicked lead guitar and epic final solo.

The song has a great sound, frantic and tasty drumming and the song is amazingly written and performed by the band. I find it very vibrant, dynamic and melodic at the same time, enjoyable from start to finish. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow the band on social media as well.
