Song of the day: Evermore - Forevermore

Swedish melodic metal group Evermore was founded in Karlskrona, which is in the country's southeast. Numerous bands, including Helloween, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Avantasia, Hammerfall, Edguy, and Stratovarius, as well as heavier or more thrash metal-oriented bands like Metallica, Pantera, Children of Bodom, Slayer, and Megadeth, have influenced Evermore. Compared to other more power metal focused bands, the band prefers a heavier tone, but they have always placed a strong emphasis on melodies and melodic riffs. The band tries to create music that they enjoy listening to, so depending on how the composing process goes, the songs can occasionally have a bit of a diverse sound and style.

This is their new single, called Forevermore. The song is absolute quality, in terms of performance and sound (it's very clear during the first seconds of the song) and it sounds to me like Power metal with a pinch of Judas Priest (Painkiller era). The vocals are clean and powerful, the drums are super fast and precise and the guitars very inspired (check out the guitar solo!). If you like the genre give it a go by clicking on the YouTube player below (the video is also very well made!) and don't forget to follow the band on social media as well.
