Song of the day: Jackson Highway - Outlaw

Jackson Highway unites musicians from various musical backgrounds who share a passion for southern rock, country music, and blues rock. Miles Lansdell, who sings lead and plays acoustic guitar, is from Muscle Shoals, and Matt Lale, who sings and plays keyboard, is the grandson of renowned Nashville producer and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Billy Sherrill. When the band first heard their harmonies, they knew they had something special. When they were old enough to drive themselves to the concerts, brothers Thomas (lead guitarist) and George Meyer (bass) grew up performing in blues clubs in St. Louis and around the nation. Their upcoming first album, which features drummer Chason McKay, blends their live performance intensity with elements from Country and southern rock.

This is their new single, called Outlaw. The song has a slow start, moving soon to a contagious groovy part and then to a very strong and catchy chorus. The overall performance is overall spot on, with fantastic vocals, very inspired guitar solos and overall a brilliant arrangement (usually I'm not a fan of keyboards, but I love them here). Quality song reminding me of the band "Monster truck", give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Jackson Highway on social media as well.
