Song of the day: Spider Rockets - Monster of Your Dreams

Spider Rockets began in New Jersey and has now expanded to major venues and music events such as the Vans Warped Tour, Popcomm, and tours with Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Framing Hanley, Trapt, Saving Abel, and Pop Evil, among others.

Their direct approach to the rock/metal scene reintroduces the characteristic edginess developed by their musical influences, such as AC/DC and Led Zeppelin, in a current context. The group's previous films, "Casual Violence," "Going Down," and "Rip Your Heart Out," have almost two million views on YouTube.

This is their new single, called "Monster of Your Dreams". I really enjoy the guitars and vocals, which are both melodic and catchy. The rhythm part is quite dynamic, and I really like how the song picks up the pace throughout the chorus (it's very catchy). A pretty old-school song, performed well by the band (check out the guitar solo), and with the ideal sound for the genre. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow Spider Rockets on social media as well.
