Song of the day: Sekond Skyn - My Head

Sekond Skyn has shared the stage with several national groups like Hell Yeah!, Life Of Agony, Monster Magnet, Ellefson, Stone Temple Pilots, and many more. Sekond Skyn's style is a unique combination of blues-driven hard rock/metal riffs, southern rock vibes, and elements of classic and stoner rock.

The band spent the previous year recording and mixing their current album, Letting Go, with Mike Orlando of Adrenaline Mob.  The album includes ten songs, nine of which are originals and one cover from Chicago, "25 or 6 to 4." Letting Go is set to be released in late summer.

This is their new single, called My Head. The song starts with a massive guitar riff and the vocals bring me back to the 90s, something in between Down and Alice in Chains, very catchy but robust as well (and with great lyrics too). I also like the rhythm section, very dynamic, and the inspired solo section. This is a very cool song, amazingly performed and produced.
