Song of the day: Wortel - Real Man

This power trio from the Netherlands has a unique sound that can be defined as straight up rock 'n roll with a twist. They rock hard while being surprisingly danceable and strange. Wortel retreated into the Galloway Recording Studio in Nijmegen in the end of 2020, after a couple of years dedicated to musical growth. They worked on 5 tracks with heart and soul, but especially with a lot of fun, under the watchful eye of producer Sebastiaan van Bijlevelt (renowned for creating Shaking Godspeed, Automatic Sam, and Yawning Man). These five songs are from their debut EP "They Said It Would Be Fun," published on April 15th, 2022.

This is their new single, called Real Man. I love the energy, the drumming and the riffing of the song, absolutely contagious and with a lot of attitude and with a super catchy chorus.
