Xposure Music - Artist Development platform

Startup Xposure Music is the name of the latest service for emerging musicians to get feedback on their work from music professionals. The company was founded in 2021, then launched an invitation-only version of its service this July. Now that’s opening up to all artists.

The company operates by enabling musicians to sign up and submit their music to its database of professionals from labels, management firms, marketing agencies, and social media corporations for free. Although submission is free, there are some premium options, such as video chats with some of those pros or guaranteed comments. Although professionals can set their own charges for written, audio, and video feedback, artists are not paid until they get it.

The co-founder Gregory Walfish, said, “In streamlining the feedback and discovery experience for the artist, we are also making the interaction easier for executives, with the help of integrations with Chartmetric and Spotify,”, and he also added “We wanted to compress what might take months of outreach or thousands of dollars to get to the right place at the right time, into an engaging interaction for artists and pros. We want to help people find that breakout moment.”
