Interview - Edoma

- Hello and welcome to this interview.
N: Hello!

Tell us about your latest release Buried by Permafrost.
N: This is our second full-length album. We are very pleased with the result of the new album, despite the difficulty of writing in a difficult period of time for all of us. For 3 years after the release of the debut album "Immemorial Existence" There were many difficulties and obstacles for its creation and writing.

- How would you describe your sound?
N: It's hard for me to answer by sound. But overall I'm very happy with it. We were looking for a sound that would suit all of us, and the tastes of us in the band are quite different. What you hear on the record is the result of our overall view of the sound on this album. And of course it's better for you to judge. Is he good or not? By the way, we have not received any feedback about the sound. Therefore, it would be interesting to hear someone's opinion on this matter.

- What are you writing about?
N: As for the lyrics. On this album, the theme of the lyrics and the mood is quite different. Writing. About permafrost, about mystical and cold forests, about the world around and crushing with its rules, about the period of personal experience and depression.

- What do you listen to when you are at home?
N: Over the past couple of months, I think Immortal, Forteress, Hate, Belphegor, Kreator, Uada, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Burzum, Dark Funeral, Elderwind, Sinmara, Death, Spectral Wound

- What is your favorite live performance at the moment?
H: We have a Festival called T'ma (The Darkness). This is great open air. We had a chance to perform on it in 2022. We were very pleased with the guys. It was really cool. I think he will soon gain good momentum with us. Because the organizers have a very good approach.

- Tell a funny story that happened in the studio or on stage.
N: The main humorist is our guitarist, always joking. There are many stories, but it is better to watch and listen.

- What are your favorite albums?
N: There are quite a few of them. For this period of time. Immortal "All Shall Fall", Hate "Rugia", Forteress "Themes Pour la Rebellion" Ozzy Osbourne"The Ultimate Sin", Kreator "Come of Soul", etc.

- A musician you would like to meet for a beer?
N: Abbath

What would you ask for backstage if you were the most important band on earth?
N: I find it difficult to answer. It's not about us.

- What are your plans for the near future?
N: Compose and record another new album. We are already working on a new album. Therefore, we are slowly accumulating new songs for him.
